What is Arvox Pro?

Arvox Pro is a range of highly effective 2-component cleaners whose core capability is oxygen-based cleaning. The patented Arvox reaction breaks down organic soiling on a wide range of surfaces. The portfolio also includes specialised products for inorganic soiling and other cleaning requirements in professional use. Application is quick and thorough; the reaction is environmentally neutral, producing water, oxygen and sodium carbonate as reaction products.

Arvox Pro Grout + Tiles removes organic soiling, Arvox Pro Lime + Sanitary removes inorganic contamination such as limescale. For best results in sanitary areas, use Lime + Sanitary first, then Grout + Tiles.

No, our products are free from phosphoric acid. This results in fewer fumes and a milder odour during use.

The individual components do contain hazardous substances, but these are neutralised when they react with each other. The resulting reaction products, water, oxygen and sodium carbonate, were confirmed analytically.

Arvox Pro Cement Film Remover works with organic acids instead of hydrochloric or phosphoric acid, making it particularly gentle on materials. It’s also suitable for terrazzo and terracotta. Test surface compatibility on an inconspicuous area first.

Yes, the Arvox Pro 2-component cleaners are designed for outdoor use. When components A and B react with each other, water, oxygen and sodium carbonate (washing soda) are formed.

Arvox Pro Stone + Concrete is very well suited to removing soiling from rendered facades and from facades insulated with external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS).

Arvox Pro Stone + Concrete removes organic soiling from all types of natural stone, including marble and limestone, very effectively.

Arvox Pro removes soiling from painted surfaces as well; it does not, however, remove the paint itself. Important: if the paint is already damaged, weathered or cracked, using Arvox Pro can cause further flaking. In such cases we recommend a preliminary test on an inconspicuous area.

Arvox Pro Grout + Tiles removes organic soiling but not inorganic deposits such as limescale. Arvox Pro Limescale Remover was developed for that purpose. On limescaled tiles, we recommend using Limescale Remover first, followed by Arvox Pro Grout + Tiles.

Coloured mineral grout can be cleaned effectively with Arvox. We recommend a preliminary test on an inconspicuous area. For professional grout cleaning, we also recommend the Arvox Fuginator.

Arvox Pro Parquet + Floorboards thoroughly cleans oiled and waxed wooden floors indoors, removing organic residues and previous impregnation treatments (except lacquer/varnish). The wood should then be re-impregnated.

Arvox Pro Wood is ideal for wood outdoors. For oiled or waxed floorboards indoors, use Arvox Pro Parquet + Floorboards, which was developed specifically for this application.

Arvox Pro Rubber + Plastics cleans thoroughly and without leaving any residue, effectively removing plant residues, fats, waxes and resins – without any cleaning film. The anti-slip properties of the sports floors are retained and the service life is noticeably extended.

As a general rule, Arvox Pro should not be used on vehicle paintwork, copper, zinc, tin, delicate wood types, delicate textiles, suede, glass, or engineered wood panels such as OSB or MDF. Where possible, we recommend covering adjacent sensitive surfaces. Product-specific exceptions apply: Arvox Pro Lime + Sanitary and Arvox Pro Grease + Oil are suitable for use on aluminium and stainless steel. If in doubt, we recommend a preliminary test on an inconspicuous area.

Yes, it removes cement film from natural stone thoroughly without attacking the sensitive surface, thanks to its mild organic acid formulation.

Arvox Pro Grease + Oil is the professional degreaser for the kitchen, developed to remove fresh organic grease and oil residues in commercial kitchens, catering operations and industrial facilities. Suitable for grills, combi ovens, deep fryers, extraction hoods (including metal filters), and machine parts and tools. Work in with hot water and a brush or sponge, and repeat if necessary.

Yes. This powerful technology is designed specifically as a degreaser for workshop use. It effectively breaks down and dissolves mineral and synthetic oils, greases and lubricants (e.g. machine oil, engine oil) in workshops and industrial plants. For stubborn soiling on concrete and stone surfaces, we recommend Arvox Pro Stone + Concrete. 

How is Arvox used?

Step 1: SPRAY ON
Wet the surface to be cleaned evenly with Arvox Pro A from a distance of approx. 20–30 cm so that a fine film forms. Then spray on Arvox Pro B in the same way, or apply both components simultaneously using the Twin Sprayer.

Step 2: WORK IN
Work the solution thoroughly into the surface using a brush, scrubber or suitable cleaning machine. For stubborn soiling, a second application of both components is recommended.

Step 3: LET IT WORK
Depending on the degree of soiling, leave to act for 5–15 minutes. At low temperatures, the contact time may be longer.

Step 4: RINSE OFF
Rinse the treated area with water and a brush; indoors, wipe with a damp cloth, or pick up the dirty solution with a scrubber dryer using a fresh water feed. The solution must not be allowed to dry on the surface.

NOTE: Any remaining residue in the form of a white powder consists of non-toxic, completely biodegradable sodium carbonate (washing soda) and can be removed with water if necessary. Use indoors only with sufficient ventilation and open windows.

No, components A and B must not be mixed together in advance. The two components are applied to the surface to be cleaned either one after the other or simultaneously. If they are mixed together in a container beforehand, the reaction begins immediately and the cleaning power is lost.

Yes. The Arvox components can also be applied to the surface simultaneously, from separate containers.

This depends on the condition of the surface and the degree of soiling. Arvox is a highly effective specialist cleaner. Experience shows that a single application is sufficient in most cases. For heavy soiling, we recommend repeating the application once the surface has dried again.

Arvox Pro removes soiling and preserves the surface it cleans, provided the product is used in accordance with the instructions for use. Certain metals such as brass and copper may discolour on contact with Arvox Pro. Product-specific exceptions apply: Arvox Pro Lime + Sanitary and Arvox Pro Grease + Oil are suitable for use on aluminium and stainless steel. If in doubt, we recommend a preliminary test on an inconspicuous area.

Rust is inorganic and therefore cannot be removed with Arvox.

Yes. After cleaning with Arvox Pro Parquet + Floorboards, the floor should be re-treated. The product removes organic residues and prepares the surface for a fresh oil treatment. It’s important that the wood is completely dry (see the manufacturer’s instructions) so that the oil can penetrate and cure evenly.

No. Arvox Pro Cement Film Remover does not remove epoxy resin residues; it was developed specifically for cement film and inorganic soiling. Arvox Pro Grout + Tiles is not suitable either, as it was designed to remove organic soiling.

This is sodium carbonate, also known as washing soda, a water-soluble mineral salt left behind after the Arvox reaction. Simply rinse off with clean water or wipe away.

Yes, impregnation immediately after cleaning is recommended. Arvox Pro prepares the surface for the impregnation.

If adjacent surfaces such as stone, concrete or wood are accidentally wetted with the product while using Arvox Pro Parasol + Awning, this is not usually a problem. For material-appropriate follow-up cleaning, we recommend Arvox Pro Stone + Concrete and Arvox Pro Wood. These ensure thorough yet gentle cleaning of the adjacent surfaces.

Yes, we recommend taking the awning down before cleaning. This makes the job easier, ensures even cleaning and improves safety. If that is too time-consuming, the awning can also be cleaned in place.

Arvox Pro Cement Film Remover can be used just 24 hours after grouting and can be integrated into the construction process without delay.

To remove grease in the kitchen, spray on components A and B in quick succession, or simultaneously using the Twin Sprayer. Work in small sections. Moisten a brush or sponge with warm water and wring it out well, then work Arvox in and leave it to act briefly. For machine application, go over the surface with a single-disc machine and a suitable cleaning pad. Pick up the dirty solution. Rinse or wipe off with clean water. Repeat if necessary.

Are animals at risk when using Arvox?

While Arvox Pro is being used, contact with pets must be strictly avoided. Once the reaction has finished and the area has been thoroughly rinsed, pets can safely enter the area again.

Arvox Pro can irritate skin and eyes. In the event of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and remove contact lenses. In the event of skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water; if irritation occurs, seek medical advice. Always follow the safety instructions on the packaging.

We recommend wearing protective gloves and safety glasses. For overhead work, e.g. with Arvox Pro Parasol + Awning, wearing safety glasses is mandatory. Do not inhale the cleaner.

Component B can react with the surface of the skin. Thorough hand washing is recommended. The reaction is usually harmless and disappears on its own after a few hours.

Wear safety glasses for overhead work. Apply A and B in quick succession or at the same time, work in, leave to act and rinse thoroughly. In sunshine, re-moisten regularly to prevent drying out.

Yes. Arvox Pro Grease + Oil is free from solvents, chlorine and fragrances, and does not produce pungent fumes.

Yes. Arvox Pro Grease + Oil is listed by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL) in the list of approved inputs for organic production in Germany. For use in your business, please observe the applicable operational and regulatory requirements.

What weather conditions must be taken into account when using Arvox Pro outdoors?

Arvox Pro should not be used outdoors in heavy rain, direct sunlight or frost. Rain or moisture can impair performance. High temperatures cause the components to dry too quickly. Ideal conditions are dry, overcast days with mild temperatures.

The containers must always be stored upright, cool and protected from light.
